Anticipatory struggle is a bitch. Worrying about stuttering will only make it worse. I've been teaching myself over time to, as soon as I reach a block or stutter, immediately stop thinking about that...

When you speak before the class in poetry readings etc. you should announce your stutter beforehand. Any time I have to give a speech I do it and it makes everyone much more comfortable/understanding ...

I dont know where you're from. But most people dont understand whats going on, so if you calmly explain to them that you have a stutter and cannot control it, 99% will probably feel bad and apologize....
