When you speak before the class in poetry readings etc. you should announce your stutter beforehand. Any time I have to give a speech I do it and it makes everyone much more comfortable/understanding and my fluency improves greatly. Also, don't be afraid to stutter. If you know it's going to happen, say fuck it and let it happen. Anticipatory struggle can make things so much worse. Also try learning compensatory techniques like light-contact etc. I always have fancial/lip tension on my blocks so I've been trying light-contact and it's been helping. Also when you block or stutter, immediately stop thinking about the phoneme you're stuttering on and concentrate on the sound after it instead. That's something I do as well and it almost always shortens/lightens the stutter.
