For a stutterer I think large crowds are fine if no talking is involved. With social anxiety the problem is the crowd or anyone in general that could be judging....
I mean, I feel like I could talk to a room of 10 people just as easily as 100 people; once it becomes a "presentation" it's all kinda the same for my stutter....
