i have stuttered since I was twelve, and used the word "stammer" to describe it to people, but eventually i started stuttering on that word too. So now i just say i have a 'speech disfluency'......

As a stutterer I would prefer to not read it out loud. (Probably not slideshow. Infographics is usually cool. But I have no idea.)...

Is it permanent though? I heard about these but I think the problem is that once stutterers adapt to that, they start stuttering again. Also, this does not work for every stutterers......
