I think the “ability to laugh at yourself” is just a trauma response. Its more like you start to laugh at yourself before someone else starts laughing at you. If that makes sense. Haha...

I think you should pick your degree based on interest, not on stuttering and social interaction. Do not run away from stuttering, talking with people is not something you can or should avoid....
