Definitely focus on what interests you and pursue that. The stutter is a part of you, but does not have to define you. It can be if you want it to, but it doesn't have to. If you treat your stutter as just a part of you, then others will too. I have had a few different jobs in different industries, and almost no one has batted an eye at my stutter. I feel that is mostly because I treat it like it is just a part of me and it just happens from time to time. I have only had a few times where my stutter was embarrassing, but for the most part, everyone has been patient. Especially with my current job. Every one of us has to work as a team and our goal is always to get the job done safely and efficiently, and everything else takes 2nd place. There just isn't any room for making fun of anyone or making anyone uncomfortable. In the end, my advice is to find and do what you are interested in. Don't worry so much about the rest and it will all fall into place.
