I have been in this situation, but instead I was just stuttering like crazy and it made a bad impression; I almost felt like the interviewer thought I was on something or just hung over or something. I never know what people think, but that isn't important; that guy obviously was ignorant to the situation at hand and I think he handled it the wrong way, but maybe you did to? I hate to blame the stutterer, but maybe he could have used some previous insight into your life. I know I would hate to hear this so I'm sorry in advance, it is just a thought. Good luck my friend. If you don't mind answering, how old are you? I recently read this stuttering article written by several stutterers and other professionals. It was very insightful, i'm gonna try to find a link.... http://www.stutteringhelp.org/sites/default/files/Migrate/book0009_may2010.pdf it is extremlely helpful in deciphering my stutter and really analyzing it. Although this is uncomfortable and unsettling, it must be done at least once to really grasp what your stuttering is.
