Disclaimer: I am an SLP (I also stutter), but my opinion in this forum cannot be used to diagnose anything or confirm anything with certainty. What I say going forward is based off my own experiences. A lot of children of this age will experience developmental stuttering. Common signs of a stuttering diagnosis versus developmental stuttering includes part word repetitions, hesitations, blocks, concomitants (using a movement to “get words out”; tapping leg or patting nearby object when stuttering), and persists past age 5-6. I’m seeing hesitations and mild blocking. Which could be indicative of a stuttering diagnosis. But due to age, I would give it 6 months to a year before going to an SLP. See how things develop. If it stays the same or gets worse go get an evaluation. If you feel super concerned now, find an SLP now and get an evaluation. Children that are this expressive and confident are awesome to see. They know what they say matters and that is indicative of a great parent!
