I am working as customer representative for Govt of Ontario. I am on front counter and deal with majority of the clients. Honestly, working in this position helped me get out of my comfort place to talk with strangers. Even today I stutter ,sometimes moderate sometimes allot but it's a process. Go for it. If anyone pokes you, make sure your management backs you.
