'Easier' is the problem. Just because it's not easy doesn't make it not doable. It seems like a large portion of people have given up hope here and just accepted oblivion. There's living and breathing proof all over the world that it can be done. Don't let yourself fall into the no hope trap. I try to give people advice of what works. But as someone said above, the subreddit has just turned into a circlejerk of everyone accepting this negativity. If you look at those who have beaten their stutter. They all say the same thing. Every fucking one of them. They changed their mindset, and no, it's no easy, I'll never say it's easy to just not care. But it's literally the only way to get out of the trap that is stuttering and the anxieties surrounding it. I'm sorry for sort of ranting. But I get message after message about this place not being a good forum for stuttering discussion. Or people being turned away because of the negativity. Stuttering is far from positive, but we need to see that the way some of us live our lives isn't changing anything, its only making it worse. I typed much more after that but removed it, I just don't want to see so many people suffering. Because you/they don't deserve to and definitely don't have to.
