Benzos can be extremely addictive. The FDA just added a new warning label about this in the last month or so. I take a beta blocker (Propranolol) works well for me if I have to give a talk etc. They aren't intoxicating and have no risk of addiction. A doctor can help with a prescription. This drug has been a generic forever so it's cheap even without insurance.
