TW: Black Pill People don’t want to cure stuttering as they focus on the more troubling diseases/conditions like cancer, viral diseases, blindness, physical disabilities, deafness etc. So because we are 1% of the worlds population researchers don’t have much of a care for us, this makes me really sad. Stutterers have a high suicidal idolization rate, workplace discrimination that’s ignored or it’s our fault for being “inefficient” when no one waits for our speech. Getting a job is harder especially in this fucked up job market at hand, some are afraid of having kids for passing it down. I wish researchers just put things on hold for a some months or a year just to find a cure even surgical operation or technology to help our community. Everyday I feel terrible, I look stupid when even talking with my family and people don’t think im up to much in college. A cure must be created hopefully this decade or the next, I pray for it 😪. Lmk anyones thoughts
