developing interpersonal relationships + social skill with a moderate/high stutter? Ive been stuttering since the age of 5, and over the years it has been quite varied in terms of intensity. This has of course taken its toll on my social skills and I almost completely lack very basic skills like holding a conversation and stutter when telling my name when it comes to talking in a group or if suddenly asked. Oddly enough I am good at public speaking, one on one and formal talking and can stylize my speech in a way (think litttlefinger from GoT). But I have found problems with this method particularly in groups or in sudden question type situations due to the pace of conversation. Unfortunately I cant seem to figure out ways to work around this and because of this im always caught off Guard and feel completely blocked. What can I do in these kinds of situations to either resolve the speech issue entirely or take the shortcut and stylize my speech Any help appreciated. Thanks.
