It's usually customers. At first my coworkers would giggle at me because they thought I was just nervous on the phone, but as stress in my life went up- my stutter increased and crossed over into customer service interaction and now they don't do that. One of them even offers to get the phone when it rings (probably because she's heard me stutter on it so many times), so thank god for her.
