Stuttering linked to higher intelligence and reasons for that? Occasionally, there are articles that come out, such [this one](http://guardianlv.com/2013/08/stuttering-children-more-intelligent-according-to-new-study-video/). It seems to be a correlation I've noticed in stutterers whom I've met. I remember that as a small child I would get my brother and dad and uncle into trouble because of the kind of ideas coming out of my mind that my parents were certain came from someone else talking in my ear about something or other. I remember that my stuttering habit began to take in a year in my childhood where I began to realize that I could cause a lot of messes this way. I wanted to learn to be quiet. And that, I did. Since then, I have always made a point to never talk about all of my big ideas. I only share them online, anonymously. My form of inductive reasoning and formulating arguments just isn't received well among my fellow Americans (however, that is different in other countries). Does this anecdote resonate with anyone else's personal experiences?
