Trouble with some words/letters 23 year old male * I had some issues stuttering when young and I saw a speech pathologist a few times at 10-12 years or so. * The problem that has haunted me in the recent years is pronouncing words beginning with certain letters. * These mostly being, G, D, P, and B sometimes. though there are others I just can't think off the top of my head. Its not so much stuttering its not being able to start the word full stop, once I start it, its most likely fine to finish pronouncing, and once I pronounce it once I can repeat it again immediately no problems. * words such as, guitar, banana, detective, politics, geotechinical * I have great trouble even starting and I usually have to think quickly to say the sentence another one. I do geotechinical engineering, if someone asks, I can almost never say it, I have to say Ground engineering, this still starts with G, but is no problem to pronounce. Not to mention it sounds weird. Any tips or thoughts on how I can beat this? Its not that I'm nervous, I even have trouble saying these words at home to my mother or close friends as well.
