I have had an extreme stutter my entire life. I am currently 47 years old. I mostly stopped conversing with society unless I absolutely have to. The only time I converse is with work and family. My stuttering has 100% DESTROYED my life. Currently not married and will not get married. When I am away on work trips, I eat in my hotel room. I order my meals when home to my residence. I just avoid any non work activities. Including family gatherings. OP, I really do feel on what you through on a daily if not hourly basis. I wish you well.
