Management is often full of people spewing meaningless hot air management speak and accomplishing nothing. What worked for me was speaking plain-truth and having no fear in pointing out the elephant in the room. Speaking is difficult enough for me so I'm not going to waffle on with pointless phrases while verbally dancing around difficult issues - I'm gonna say it right out in blunt terms everyone is thinking but no has the cajones to say out loud. People appreciate, and respect, this level of truthful, no BS communication style. Which would you rather hear: "After a robust series of agile sprints and deep-dive synergies, the current build has elected to pursue additional horizon-scanning in our pre-production ecosystem. Deploying now would be a sub-optimal mobilisation of our go-to-market velocity." or "This release isn't ready for production." For stutterers, we would say the latter, and be respected for our honesty.
