I was bored so I decided to write a little poem about the effects of stuttering, enjoy. Some say it's easier said than done, However for a select few its easier done than said, I'd rather do the task o yes, Than try to say it and make a mess, You approach me and say what is your name?, I try to spit it out and feel utterly ashamed, My name is d-d-d- - "oh can't you speak?", Why can't you remain patient and be a little meek?, I enter the restaurant, want to buy what I see. I try to say the dish and I've made a fool out of me, But don't worry tomorrow I say my life will change!, However I wake up and feel utterly deranged, My work is so great I take great pride, However I hear there is a presentation so I freak out and hide, Little to their knowledge the psychological effect, Yet they have the audacity to tell me practice makes perfect, Even though every day they've ridiculed me, As I lay in my bed every night and make an urgent plea, "God if you're out there, why cant you see", "What you have ultimately done to me?", Despite my plea going to no avail, I've written this poem to tell my tale
