Listening to myself

Listening to myself I've been a stutterer for my whole life. At 33, I thought I had more or less come to terms with it. I had to pull the phone recording of a 25 minute conversation I had with a customer today. I made it maybe two minutes into the call before I turned it off. I honestly thought my stuttering had gotten better the last 10 years, but I heard on that call stuttering that hadn't even registered in my mind. Tons of uncomfortable pauses mid-sentence / mid-word, tone repetition, etc. I'm feeling pretty down about this right now.
