I agree acceptance is soooooo hard. It’s taken you years to solidify how much you dislike / hate your stutter. So naturally it might take a little while to train yourself otherwise. You’re literally re-wiring your brain. What’s your mindset when you’re normally speaking? Get nervous before speech, try to mask or not stutter, end up stuttering and then panic and feel shame? That’s where you have to start making your change. Instead of trying for tricks just try and self soothe, take your time and remember to breathe before speaking. When you feel shame or anxiety take a pause and take as long as you need to relax before speaking again. It might be advantageous to retrain your body’s response to stutter
