^^Along the lines of this, even trying 4-7-8, that is take a breath in over 4 seconds, hold it for 7 seconds and breathe out slowly over 8 seconds. I find this helps a nice bit to ease stress for a while, I often use it before making phone calls or anticipating being asked my name, etc.
