I think about that a lot, and it honestly makes me sooo depressed. I’m also 19 turning 20, and I’ve been trying for as long as I can remember to just speak and literally nothing works, at all. I think I got that mindset once, for a very short time when I started my new job, I was like, “there’s nothing you can do so it makes no sense to stress out”. But man, I got replaced, and the circumstances led me to believe that such a decision from my employers was strongly influenced by my stutter, as its a fast paced environment and the role requires a lot of speaking. So, my stutter was very present and I struggled a lot. How does one even accept this? It’s sooooo hard
