That was great advice from that commenter. I would also say that for me I got “picked on” but not in the sense of I was an outcast or anything. Eventually when I got to high school I just respectfully asked my closest friends not to make fun of me for certain things I couldn’t control as I wouldnt do unto them (as you grow up you will start to see that everyone starts to have their own little worldly problems that they can’t control to some degree). Anyways the best thing to do if it gets to be too much is politely ask them to stop making fun of your stutter and if that doesn’t work what you do is completely stop reacting to only their comments that are about how bad ur speech is and u reward them with ur attention and friendliness when they avoid doing it. It’s literally like disciplining a child haha you reward your friends for good behaviour and disapprove for bad behaviour.
