Has anyone been denied service because of a disability? Hi everyone, I’m wondering if anyone in Canada has ever been denied service, refused assistance, or treated differently by a store, organization, or public service because of a speech disability. For example, being ignored, told to bring someone else to speak for you, refused service, or not being given reasonable time to communicate. If you’re comfortable sharing: What happened? Was it a private business or government service? Did you file a complaint or take any action afterward?
