Discrimination? I finished school back in December, 2013. I have been looking for a job since. I've filled out somewhere between 250 and 300 applications and have had over 40 interviews across about 25 different companies. I have a BA in Math, minor Psychology with 3.82 GPA, and a MS in Applied Statistics with 3.96 GPA. I get praise for almost every answer I provide to technical questions I am asked across all interviews. I have yet to receive one job offer. I've gotten to the final round with 5 different companies, and my stuttering is far worse the deeper my interviews go and the more anxiety I experience. I have gotten to the point where hiring managers are starting to ask me why I think I haven't received a job offer and why my salary expectations are so low (I've gradually lowered it over time since I am unemployed with no benefits and kind of desperate). Should I blame my stuttering? I am generally really easy to get along with, and I don't think anything else about me would raise a red flag. Most of my classmates that performed much more poorly than me have received good jobs. I never receive feedback regarding why I wasn't selected for the positions I've interviewed for. I'm losing hope on ever entering my field, despite my degree supposedly being very marketable.
