If they only did that then they weren't a good therapist! One of the biggest take\-aways I have from being on this subreddit the past year is that lots of people have had TERRIBLE therapy. It's such a shame, there are good therapists and good speech therapy does wonders. But, bad therapy experiences set people against good therapy which is a shame.
