I’m not in Australia, but I do have a stutter and I have a child that did stutter for awhile. My best advice is to just be patient with the child. My wife and I paid out of pocket for a speech pathologist and we found it very helpful. Our daughter is now 7 years old and she’s 100% fluent. Most children grow out of it, but if your child doesn’t, they’re still going to be just fine, trust me.
