I was going to say the same thing! I'm 34 and after losing 2 jobs this past year, my speech therapist urged me to let people know that I stutter. Once I started doing that, everything because much easier! My own sister in law didn't even know that I stutter. I've known her for 10 years! I had hidden it for way too long!! I also joined a stuttering support group via the NSA website, it's westutter.org. I highly recommend it! I've made friends for life through that group.
