I think like any substance it is to an extent individualised. That being said, no substance at all is a quick fix for everything. The body needs time to adjust. Trying it consistently wont harm you, and non-avoidance exercises definitely will be beneficial. Every drug will alter the neurology in some way, otherwise it would have no impact at all in terms of effect. It's figuring out whether that impact is a) mostly safe/functionally reversible or b) something you can have no problem with. If it helps, it helps and there have been no studies I have read that have yet to show any terrible neurologic complications from CBD alone, or really sensible use of CBD+THC. I don't believe either of things are a 'cure-all' especially with something as changeable as anxiety, but trying them doesn't hurt.
