my stutter got a lot worse over the course of a year (when i first started working at a firm and the environment wasn't at all great) so i did some speech therapy. the eye rolling was one of my "techniques" to break a stutter, along with a whole bunch of other stuff (stiffening up, tapping my feet, jerking my head, filling in other words etc. you know the deal). one of the first things we did in therapy was separating those "techniques" (that obviously weren't helpful at all) from the real stuttering, we called it symptom-less stuttering, doing that alone was a real difference. i can really recommend doing a speech therapy, learning more and more about your stutter helps you help yourself =)
