Not sure if you had your first day yet but to me this is easier because you know you will habe to say your name so you can be prepared. The worst is when someone asks your name out of the blue. With your situation you should have your name "on your tongue" so to speak so it should be easy to say it. Just have a prepared sentence and joke ready. I usually said "Hi. I'm the new guy (name)" and laughed. I would just do that over and over all day so, you have it prepared and ready.
