Reactions when you come across other stutters...

Reactions when you come across other stutters... I have a very mild stutter, and am in a position where I have to speak with customers. I tend to use word substitutions fairly often, and am a little embarrassed about my stutter. It's very rare, but every now and then, there is a customer that stutters. I don't know why, but this makes me really uncomfortable. I don't know if this is an issue for anyone else...
