Whenever I train carpenters for on the job training, I simply say, “I have a speech impediment and sometimes is difficult to say certain sounds, please let me know if there’s any questions.” It honestly empowers you to acknowledge it’s just a part of your life. If they ever respond back being an asshole, it’s clearly not the place to work. Fuck em
