This is honestly one of my biggest fears. But over the past few years I’ve talked to cops a few places. It helps that I’m not being pulled over … I’m talking to them at public events I’m photographing. The first time I was nervous as hell, but got through it. And most recently it was just like talking to anyone else I didn’t know. Took me a while to get there, but I could say that about all people of authority.
