You haven't cured it. The trick might seem neat now, but it'll all go to shit the second you are in a situation you're anxious in. As nice as a magical cure sounds, an important step towards living a happy life with a stutter is accepting that the stutter will never go away. Tricks like these might work for a few convos here and there, but they are by no means a solution. The only way to live happily with the stutter is by accepting it as a part of you and stuttering openly without any kind of shame. The goal isn't to cure stuttering, but to be okay with being a stutterer.
