Yea, for obvious reasons, I make it a point not to 'embrace' people ridiculing stuttering. Like you, people's opinions of me solely based on my stuttering are pretty much irrelevant. So in a sense, I don't care about it/ 'don't mind'. But I don't think you'll ever hear me cheering on or defending someone making a stuttering joke.
