Hey, it's totally fine question! Well, I've kinda made peace with my stutter and I try not to make such a big of a deal out of it when it happens. I stutter a lot and of course I've found some ways how to 'hide' it (these have stuck from the days I was embarrassed about it). So now I'm just like - oh well. Most of the time there is no reaction. If there is, it's a smile, nothing more. The only exception is when I have to introduce myself because I almost always stutter when I say my name. And I occasionally get the "oh did you forget your name?" people. Then I just look in their eyes and say "no, I have a stutter". And I try to keep the eye contact as long as possible. Most of the time it makes them uncomfortable. Some apologize, some say nothing. Something like that.
