You should get him to a speech therapist ASAP! If it’s lasted for 2 years (usually 6 months is the golden Rule), and there’s stuttering in the family, he will likely stutter forever if he doesn’t get therapy while he’s still young. He still could stutter forever, but you could significantly decrease that chance.
