I had a math teacher in 8th grade who stuttered quite often. I also have a stutter; this math teacher was super supportive of me, as I was to him. Whenever I would stumble over a number or something, he would often know which one I"m talking about and simply point or ask "this one?", to which I could say "Yeah", instead of retrying the word I was having trouble with. It's been a while since I"ve talked to him, but I feel like I should contact him again. He was really supportive of me, and I like to think he was a good reason why I'm so optimistic of my stutter nowadays.
