many stutterers have "tricks" like that. but... many stutterers have tricks that turn into part of their stuttering too. so... the scientific thing - and this is where our local speech therapists could be of great help - is to figure out which methods can be used without losing control over them over time. maybe we should just consider them temporary tools.
