Anyone else stutter more when they have to think before speaking? I’ve noticed that I stutter more when I have to think before speaking. When I read, my speech is almost smooth, but the problem starts when I have to converse or explain something, since that requires forming thoughts first. It’s not that I worry about getting stuck, I just make mental points and form sentences in my head like anyone else, but the words still trip me up. Does this happen to you as well? And how do you deal with it?
