i would really recommend being upfront about your stutter from the beginning. i know it feels embarrassing to say “just so you know i have a stutter!” but honestly telling people lets your mind shift from trying to hide it and panicking when you stutter to focusing on what you’re saying and being more fluent. when i tell people, so much of my anxiety is lifted.
