WHAT SUPPLEMENTS DO YOU RECOMMEND TO SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE DEVELOPMENTAL STUTTERING? (ChatGpt recommended me some supplements) Hello As you know, developmental stuttering is a neurological problem that only requires a solution to reduce stuttering by at least 70% through medication. So far, there isn't one. However, there are several medications that people have tried, even though they aren't specifically for developmental stuttering. I'm somewhat fearful, and my main fear is the side effects of medications like arepiprazole, haloperidol, Lexapro, Xanax, and generally any atypical antipsychotic. Side effects such as sedation, lack of emotions, metabolic effects, and distortion of reality are to be expected. Why do I say this? Simple. Because I have to say that I like my chemically normal state. It's true that I've been isolated and haven't gone out, so maybe my "social chemistry" is unbalanced and I have anxiety, little motivation, but nothing that a good workout or going out to socialize won't take away...............The point is, I like my reality, even though I obviously haven't achieved my goals yet. but I mean, I'm not in a mental state where I'm thinking crazy thoughts or seeing things at night or anything like that, what I mean is that, within the normal range I have my normal chemistry and I don't suffer from any serious issues, is just what I mentioned above: maybe a little anxiety, low motivation, intrusive thoughts, but it's nothing serious like hallucinations or things like that; it's normal and i like my reality. And if I can avoid side effects from medications that somehow alter that reality, causing serious side effects, I'll do it. So, that's why, before trying medications, I'd like to take supplements to see if that's enough for me. I wanted to ask, do anyone recommend any supplements that have worked for you? When I say supplements, I mean the ones that come in bottles. I asked chatgpt what supplements he recommended for developmental stuttering. I explained the scientific findings that stuttering is related to these keywords: dopamine, basal ganglia, low blood flow, anxiety, Broca's area. I gave chatgpt those keywords and entered the text, and he gave me this: \- Magnesium or magnesium glycenate: If your body tolerates 200 mg well, you can maintain that dose or increase to 400 mg if necessary. \- Rhodiola Rosea: If all goes well, you can continue with 200 mg or increase to 400 mg if you feel you need more energy. \- Bacopa Monnieri: If all goes well, you can increase to 500 mg if you haven't experienced any side effects. \- Ginkgo Biloba: If you tolerate the 120 mg daily dose well, you can continue with that dose. CHATGPT told me to try two supplements first to get my body used to them, and if I tolerate them well, I can add the other two. Since these are supplements, almost everyone can tolerate them since they're just supplements, not drugs. In your experience, which ones have you tried? I'd like to see a common denominator so I can immediately buy one, because if many people have tried different supplements, it will make the decision more complicated. But I'm still interested in knowing which ones you've taken and what's the reasoning behind choosing them.
