Oh I feel you. Not particularly with my stutter, but rather with mental health - I hate hearing "oh it's so easy for you!" and "you're so lucky" when they see how I manage my life. The thing what helps me is to respond to these things how I actually feel about it: like say "yeah I've worked hard to be here" or "it isn't easy to always manage things like this and I have my ups and downs, but I'm actually quite proud of my work" or "yeah the work from more than a hundred hours of therapy sessions really helped me improve here and there". Thankfully people don't comment on my stuttering, I think I'd be boiling of someone invalidated my pain and effort just because I have a better period... Although it's good to hear praising from my friends about my speech, I'm glad they do it very kindly and understandingly. And congratulations to you for managing your stuttering so good!!
