Am I the only one with this niche stutter? 34m Married (not sure how I managed that but somehow I found one who isn’t bothered) Work an office job and 95% fluent. Participate and lead meetings with no issue. Explain complicated IT architecture without issue. Have to provide occasional end user support and almost never have a block or problem speaking. Everyday situations, ordering food? No problem Approaching a cashier with a question or request? No problem I can make any phone call and not just make the call, but end up with a good rapport with the person on the other end. But I go out with my wife’s friends, and the most basic questions kill me. What’s your name? What do you do for work? Those two questions I stutter on 90% of the time I’m asked. Why god why?!?
