Need advice for "surviving" a recruitment event having a stutter and anxiety Tomorrow I will be attending a recruitment event with the opportunity to interview for a possible paid internship. As great as the opportunity, being in social situations raises my anxiety and I'm somewhat afraid that my stuttering will get the best of me and ruin any chances of me doing well. I know deep down I'm over-thinking the issue, but I just can't escape this pessimistic attitude. It's been the same way with every situation where I have to speak in a social setting. Any advice from those who stutter on not letting your nerves get to you in situations like this, especially those with anxiety problems? Thanks to all who answer.
