I'm generally not an advocate of using drugs to deal with anxiety or depression and would worry it could lead to dependency if used to aid your speaking. I'd say to stay away from benzos completely. Had a brief try with them when I was in a very depressed/anxious time of my life and I think those should only be used in the most extreme situations, very dangerous drugs.
