Hello, fellow PWS! Just dropping a positive message for everyone! From a fellow person with a stutter, I want each and every one of you in this subreddit to know that you are doing great. Everyday is a struggle for us when we're out there having to socialize, but the way we still do that is just so beautiful to me. Personally, I have never met anyone who has a stutter like me, so finding this community, which I very recently did has given me a sense of belonging. That there are people like me. I love to read about your experiences and I think through every struggle each of you are doing so great. Every little step is still a step. I feel very euphoric today and also at home with my stutter, so I thought maybe a positive message here might help me share my euphoria as well. I know things are hard but the way we still face there in our own ways and at our own paces is what is so wonderful to me. To everyone who is going up to face a vivavose or a job interview, I BELIEVE IN YOU. What matters is your voice! We are brave because we face our worst fear everyday and try to make peace with it. A big hug to everyone here. I hope you all have a good day, positive experiences with your stutter today and for all the days to come. Never give up because I don't plan to either, but sometimes it's okay to fall apart, feel helpless and feel like we're not going anywhere, but trust me, we are. It has not been easily for me to say all of this because I have had my worst moments and I still do at points, but for those moments when I feel confident, I want to share it with all of you because I know how it feels like to be perceived different. All my love to you all <3
