I think there are several factors here - most "famous people" that supposedly stuttered are an older generation where videos of them in their childhood/teen years may not be available due to lack of technology. I really hope we'll see much more video available for those born from the 90's (see note on George Springer below) . Also, many of the famous people are singers/actors and it's been well documented that the brain works differently when singing so that many stutters can sing fluently. In some cases, acting can do a similar thing - here's an article about famous stutter Bruce Willis and his involvement with the American Institute for Stuttering. *\[Bruce\] learned that he could better control his speech impediment while playing a character onstage. He later worked with speech therapists while attending Montclair State University in New Jersey* Link: [https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/rambling-reporter/bruce-willis-stuttering-never-let-900434](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/rambling-reporter/bruce-willis-stuttering-never-let-900434) I would think the best famous stutter to have clips online would be baseball player George Sprinter - he's been mic'ed up a bunch of times: Article: [https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/ct-george-springer-stutter-all-star-game-20170713-story.html](https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/ct-george-springer-stutter-all-star-game-20170713-story.html) Finally, famous people often deal with the media and have years of extensive media training/coaching so they will likely appear to be more polished/fluent than in everyday situations due to the training/acting effect.
